Joanne was born in 1967 and has been exhibiting her work for over 25 years in the UK, Italy & Monaco
Joanne Short studied in Italy for her fine arts degree. She had to learn the Italian name for every bone in the human body as part of her life-drawing classes.
Joanne's paintings have appeared in many magazines including Country Living, Elle, Elle Decoration, Vogue and Arts review
Joanne has worked as the Artist In Residence for many organisations including Tresco estate, National Trust's St Michael's Mount, Giardini Hanbury in Italy
Joanne's work forms part of the public collection of work at Truro City Council and Falmouth Art gallery
In 2012 Joanne Short was selected as a featured artist for the official Falmouth 'Splash' banner which is on public display in the town.
In 2013 Truro City Council in Cornwall commissioned Joanne Short to paint a special painting to be featured on the official Truro City Guide.
